We, the undersigned individuals and organizations, support you in taking power. The politicians, special interests, and political parties are failing us all. We can do better.

We have seen that citizens themselves — when given the time and resources to deliberate — make very sensible decisions. Citizen assemblies, selected by lot and formed to reflect the full diversity of a jurisdiction, are more democratic than a system captured by special interests. And they make better policy.

We commit to supporting any group of citizens, in any state with the initiative process, in the effort to give such assemblies ongoing power.

Specifically, we commit to:

• Helping local groups gather signatures for a state initiative giving annual citizen assemblies "the power to propose" — first to the legislature, then automatically to the ballot if not passed. Details ↗
• Messaging our contacts in any such state — to sign a petition, volunteer, donate, or vote in support
• Supporting any citizen assemblies convened with our time and expertise
